Who You’ll Work With: The Associate is responsible for handling client and prospect requests for the relationships they are assigned to. Along with the Director of Sales, the Associate is responsible for day-to-day contact with the internal and external contacts related with AB’s client and prospects. Associates are accountable to their Advisors to ensure that both internal and external service expectations are met or exceeded. This includes first and foremost building effective and trusted relationships with their Advisors, as well as with their peers and colleagues in other departments, including Portfolio Management, Operations, Client Reporting, Legal & Compliance and Finance. What You’ll Do: Support sales across different market segments Make proactive calls to clients promoting our investment services and generating sales Follow up with relevant materials the meetings of Country leaders with clients and prospects. Highlight and develop useful information about competitive positioning of our funds Send relevant emails to clients promoting our though-leadership and investment capabilities Provide Support to Country leaders whereas they are in meetings Develop operational tasks which includes sales identification and analysis of sales reports, contact updates, salesforce management, Morningstar reports and analysis and day to day work. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business administration or economics At least 3-5 years of financial services experience in a professional capacity, focused primarily on investments Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and familiarity with Morningstar. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (Portuguese would be a plus), with the confidence to thoughtfully assert ideas to a broad audience Good judgment, a powerful sense of urgency, and initiative Ability to be proactive and to work well both independently and as part of a team Client-focused, highly organized and able to thrive in a culture of relentless ingenuity A desire to learn about the industry and AB’s investment strategies Self-motivated and Self-reliant in regular/familiar tasks Strong attention to detail Analytical and numerical skills Supportiveness and inclusivity Strong time management and organizational skills Deadline-driven, with the ability to reassess priorities Adept at synthesizing data to arrive at a compelling conclusion/tell a story Collaborative and open to other viewpoints Agile and innovative in the face of complexity and/or adversity Registered with Series 7 Miami, Florida We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
