Alliance Health System works with the Team MD Surgery Center in Woodland Park, and is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist experienced in orthopedics, pain management, spinal surgery, podiatry, and vascular specialties to join our ASC team. Minimum of 1 year experience required in hospital or multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center setting. The Surgical Technologist will effectively assist the surgeon during procedures. To be successful in this role, the Surgical Technologist must deliver exceptional service as well as prepare patients, rooms and equipment for pending surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience or advanced knowledge of an orthopedic setting. The superb candidate will be able to assist at a high level during procedures as part of a team in the operating room.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and patients in an operating room
• Ensure the operating room is clean and sterile
• Provide critical services during the surgery itself by completing various tasks within the operating room
• Monitor and continually assess operating room conditions, including patient and surgical needs
• Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with governing HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

• Proof of certification (CST)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in comparable job classification required
• Experience with orthopedics, pain management, spine, podiatry, and vascular
• Education on HIPAA regulations and other maintenance of strict confidentiality of client information
• Ability to work effectively within role independently and with other team members
• Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
• Ability to understand medical/surgical terminology

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday with two (2) Saturdays per month, and one (1) late day per week (either Mon or Wed)
