ALLIANCE AUTOMATION is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW: Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for initiating customer contact and converting prospects into sales opportunities to pass along to the Sales Engineers. The Inside Sales Specialist is also responsible for sales lead follow-up and potentially reviving previously archived projects within new and existing customers.


TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Prospecting
  • Sales Lead Follow-Up
  • Archived Quote Regeneration
  • Work with Sales Reps to provide a High-Quality Sales Process
  • Support Marketing with Independent Market Research

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • 70% of your day is spent identifying, developing, and following new leads and pursuing opportunities.
    • Cold Calling/prospecting
    • Identifying and vetting opportunities
    • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
    • New business development
    • Reviving Archived Project Quotes
  • 15% of your day is spent responding to inquiries
    • Respond to client inquiries and follow up in a timely manner
    • Documenting and relaying to the engineering and applications team the customer requirements
    • Maintaining and growing current customer relationships
    • Answer inbound calls with authority and professionalism
  • 15% of your day is spent working alongside Marketing in a team environment
    • Keeping track of current prospect lists and timelines
    • To create new marketing messages to send to prospects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Highest level of integrity, EQ, and Sales Acumen
  • Possess a winning and creative approach to identifying customer solutions.
  • Be able to convey complex thought via verbal or written examples
  • History of prospecting success
  • Proven ability to continually develop and contact prospective customers
  • 1-3 years of previous industrial sales experience or inside industrial sales experience
  • Knowledge of industrial automation solutions
  • Results-driven and ambitious
  • Excellent organization, time-management, and communication skills
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • CRM Experience is a plus
