Recruiting for a Medical Assistant (MA) in our REDMOND CLINIC will work with the general supervision of the health care team. The MAs assist our doctors and pediatric patients to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic setting. You will work with a varied team including doctors, nurses, office support, and corporate management.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately obtain and record vital signs and other required information for the provider
- Collect and process labs (venipuncture, POCT, finger/heel sticks)
- Order, administer, and record approved medications and vaccines via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intradermal routes, under supervision
- Autoclave instruments and maintain autoclave equipment
- Clean exam rooms and personal space per CDC and Allegro guidelines
- Prepare, stock, and maintain examination rooms daily
- Monitor daily task list
- Prepare forms for provider
- Phone calls to patients, parents, or other medical entities as appropriate
- Schedule appointments
- Retrieve any urgent medical records (i.e. hospital, ER follow-up) for relevant appointments
- Promote atmosphere of patient care and customer service excellence, respecting patient rights, confidentiality, diversity, and developmental needs
- Participate in quality improvement activities as requested Flexible to the need of individual clinics and care teams
Desired Skills:
- Experience with pediatric phlebotomy
- Experience with pediatric manual blood pressures
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Accredited Medical Assisting program required
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certificate required/or must be in process of obtaining
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to all clinics as staffing needs change
- Must work one weekend day per month and one holiday per year
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communications skills with a diverse population of customers and coworkers, while demonstrating professionalism and integrity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational, multi-tasking skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced patient focused environment with ongoing changes
- Must be proficient in computer navigation, task management and working with several software programs at the same time
- Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Background check
- Drug testing (includes marijuana)
- To uphold safety for all employees and patients, we continue to require vaccination status for all new hires, including remote or hybrid schedules, at time of hire and annually
- Initial COVID vaccination series
- Current COVID booster, and annually, or as newly released
- We require flu immunizations at time of hire and annually
- Various other immunization requirements that we can discuss during your interview
- All employees are currently required to wear a surgical, KN95 or N95 mask at all times while in a clinic, patient facing
Salary : $41,700 - $52,800
