A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be a member of a team who handles a variety of warehouse tasks for receiving and inventory control. Tasks include:

• Gain general knowledge of warehouse product and stock locations
• Receive incoming product and move to proper locations within warehouse
• Safely operate warehouse vehicles including forklift.
• Route incoming mail or product to proper department.
• Prep and strap outgoing freight shipment; match bill of lading and labels to appropriate product.
• When needed, provide backup help for using scanner device to pick, pack and ship products.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year or more of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Proven attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Experience with inventory control software a plus

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position offers schedules working from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with a 30-minute paid lunch break. Seasonal overtime is available.
