About the Position:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will provide exceptional service with a sense of urgency and demonstrating a high degree of knowledge of the revenue cycle process. A high level of integrity is a must in this role. This role will work with the Finance Director to follow through with the revenue cycle process and ensure cash posting and patient balances are accurately accounted for and posted. This role will generate various reports and follow the revenue cycle from an internal standpoint and work with all team members to during each step of the process to assist in that cycle which will in turn assist this role in the cash posting process.
This position may be performed remotely, preference may be given to candidates located in Colorado or able to relocate.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education: Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: This position requires at least 3 years’ experience in revenue cycle specific to billing and coding as well as specific detailed cash posting expertise. Extensive experience auditing balances is also a must in this role.
Special Skills & Knowledge: Candidates should have the following skills and attributes: must be able to work and communicate well with people; be adaptable and accept changes quickly and easily; be willing to address conflict appropriately, highly organized and methodical, detail-oriented, communicate professionally in both verbal and written forms. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully meeting goals and KPI targets regarding revenue cycle. Candidate should also have extensive training and coaching expertise in a healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements: The physical requirements described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Routine mobility to include standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking and running.
  • Regularly required to sit and work at a phone/computer work station
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
Position Duties and Responsibilities – Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Benefits:

Salary range: $45,000-52,000/year
