Overview

As the warehouse clerk, you are primarily responsbile for the administrative/clerical functions of the Perishables department

Schedule- M-F 4:30AM-12:30PM

Responsibilities

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Release, batch and print picking tickets by warehouse leave time after routing, allocation and pallet build is complete (Shipping). 
• Assign work/trucks to doors and assign proper trailers to accommodate each load's contents. 
• Keying of red-lines, handbills and loading documents (Shipping). 
• Communication with other departments to coordinate integrated shipments. 
• Managing office in such a way that allows proper work-flow to selectors, checkers and other departments. 
• Communicating with supervisors on a regular basis with regards to problems and questions that may come up. 
• Answer incoming phone calls. 
• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary. 

Qualifications

High School Diploma, with some college or equivalent work experience preferred.Must possess a working knowledge of Triceps and Mainframe.Must be able to work a flexible schedule if needed.Must be able to work in all warehouse environments.Should be a self-starter that needs little direction.Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to interact well with supervision and co-workers.Have a sense of urgency and ability to keep matters confidential.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and challenging environment.Proficient math, problem solving and organizational skills, as well as phone etiquette.Data entry, with ten-key experience, and PC literate with experience in Windows, Word and Excel.
