Job Title: Program Manager, Enhanced Polar System (EPS) Ops and Maintenance II (OMII)

Location: Schriever Space Force Base (SFB) (Colorado Springs), CO

Salary: $135-170K

POSITION SUMMARY Are you skilled at delivery to Strategic customers? Familiar with Nuclear missions? Capable of overseeing information technology (IT) service delivery within satellite communications operations and maintenance (O&M) functional areas?

· Must hold active TS/SCI Clearance. This is an In-Person Position (Telework not available).

· Program Management: Manage contract support to government customer including contract funding execution, team and personnel management, local training and on-boarding, interviewing candidates and advising on potential hires, work with and present status to government offices and Aleut leadership. Manage deliverables and reports, ensure management and accomplishment of Performance Work Statement (PWS) tasks. Assist Contract Officer Representative (COR) as required, collect and analyze program data and performance. Recognize deficiencies, determine root cause, and implement improvements. Drive process capture and refinement.

· EPS OMII Role: Lead EPS program delivering O&M across EPS program elements at Schriever SFB CO, and Clear SFS AK.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Leadership, Management, Problem Solving, Planning

· Oversee contract execution, program management, team building & employment

· Support strategic-level customers with excellent O&M delivery to a no fail mission

· Shape and provide EPS program recommendations to government offices at high levels

· Manage operations support, helpdesk functions, comm planning, maintenance

· Keep customer informed/on-track about activities, resources, timelines, risks, mitigation

· Maintain awareness of and advise on EPS program ability to adapt to dynamic global nuclear satcom user community operations

· Work with numerous government offices to drive realization of strategic plans

· Brief and have candid conversations with senior government leaders (General Officers, GS-14/15, Senior Executive Services (SES) employees) about EPS status, performance, risks, mitigation, ability to support strategic communities

· Form, join, support partnerships, teams, and coalitions across stakeholders at all times

Internalize and represent customer vision, strategy and equities in high level forums

· Build and articulate the case for EPS equities, resources, and stakeholder positions

· Foresee roadblocks, pitfalls, “fast lanes” and work to enable and speed success

EDUCATION/TRAINING

· MS or MBA

· Demonstrated background in management at strategic level

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

· 10 years experience in management and ops within DoD/USG Strategic communities

· 5 years experience in program and/or contract management

· Demonstrated ability to lead and support implementation of DoD, CJCS, USSTRATCOM, and USSF Vision & Strategy

· Demonstrated ability to lead and support cross-functional teams across DoD

· Exceptional communicator (written and verbal) capable of facilitating, briefing, speaking, and writing compelling papers/products.

PREFERED SKILLS/ABILITIES

· Demonstrated ability to synchronize and simultaneously drive multiple Program Management Offices (PMOs), operational units, and other offices toward a goal (plan, synchronize resource advocacy, coordinate, manage/synch multiple projects)
