We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team and help protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the facility, monitoring security cameras, responding to alarms and investigating suspicious activity. They will also be required to write detailed reports and interact with law enforcement when necessary. The ideal candidate should have excellent observational skills and be able to think quickly in challenging situations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
