Aldridge is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Houston, TX
Aldridge is seeking enthusiastic IT professionals to join our team! We have been saving business executives and IT professionals time, energy and resources since 1984. Since our first location opened in Houston, we have expanded our MSP services to Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Seattle; with an increasingly complex IT environment, we are searching for high aptitude professionals to work with our list of customers. This role would be based in our Fort Worth office.
The Help Desk Technician plays a critical role in supporting and resolving end user issues in a timely and professional standard. The successful candidate would be exposed to some of the most cutting edge technology and work in a group of supportive, knowledgeable professionals.
General Responsibilities:
- Provide technically accurate, user-friendly solutions to basic end user requests such as
- Active Directory management
- Printer issues
- Email issues
- Application Support
- New user creation
- User offboarding requests
- Workstation/laptop builds and set-up
- Travel onsite to perform tasks that cannot be completed remotely
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of successful experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Support
- Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to lead through complex dialogues
- Knowledge of computer hardware, including but not limited to: hard drives, CPUs, motherboard, power supply, bluetooth, RAM, ports, monitors and other peripherals
- Experience with JIRA or other ticketing systems is a plus
- CompTIA, Microsoft 365, Network , CCNA or other support certifications are a plus
