This is a remote full time System Administrator position that will be based out of our Portland, OR office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support of Microsoft Windows based servers and applications to our entire client base
  • Maintenance and problem solving with respect to server and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Manage virtual servers in Hyper-V and VMware environments
  • Provide clear and transparent updates on all work in progress
  • Act as a point of technical escalation including the ability to work with individuals with a wide range of computer skills, specifically when communicating technical information
  • Ability to provide support for small and mid-enterprise organizations
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned

Education and Experience

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a System Administrator in a Corporate environment
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands on experience using and/or troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2019/365, Windows Server 2016 and 2019
  • Working knowledge of configuring SharePoint and Azure Active Director
  • Hands on experience using and/or troubleshooting MS-SQL, MS 365 and application servers
  • Ability to configure MS Teams, OneDrive and similar Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as SMB, SSH, telnet, etc.
  • Familiarity with Cisco products including firewalls and advanced security applications and also knowledge of Cisco and Dell Networking products
