Position Title: Quality Control Manager
Reports to: Construction and Facilities Maintenance Manager
Location: On-site - Raven Rock Mountain, PA
Employment Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to support DOD in Raven Rock Mountain, PA.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the established standards.
- Oversee and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the construction process and work with other key personnel (e.g.: Project Managers, Superintendents, etc.) to produce and document a quality product.
- Be present on site while construction or demolition activities are occurring.
- Review and certify dually with the DOR that all submittals meet the specifications of the contract.

Requirements
Security Requirements:
- A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required, and a favorable completion of FBI fingerprint History Check must be completed. A Common Access Card (CAC) is required for Base access and the Local Access Network (LAN).
- DOD Clearance is preferred, but not required for this project. Must be able to obtain DoD Clearance for future projects.
This position requires passing an extensive background check.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience as a Construction Quality Control Manager.
- Certification: Army Corp CQC
- Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
- Excellent and accurate written communication
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills Microsoft office products required
- Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
- Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic
- Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality
Physical Requirements:
- Stand or walk up to 2 hours at one time, up to 8 hours per day; sit for less than 2 hours during an 8 hour day
- Operates motor vehicles or heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, high reach, cherry picker) occasionally (less than 33% of the workday). License may be required to operate equipment.
- Lift or carry up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds limits on occasional basis.
- Frequently use hands for simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing or pulling
- Frequently bend, squat, kneel, knee stand, lift overheard, reach overhead, push, or pull with forces up to 35 pounds
- Work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and environmental conditions
- Possess ability to work at heights, full range of body motions and physical agility, and ability to maintain balance.
- Ability to stand, walk, crawl, climb, stoop, pull and crouch for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly raise or lower objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairways, hillsides, rough graded sites, work in exterior locations and in noisy, dusty and dirty conditions for extended periods to view construction areas.
