Alcohol, Drug & Mental Health Board Franklin Cty. is Hiring a Provider Relations Manager Near COLUMBUS, OH

The ADAMH Board of Franklin county is searching for our next Provider Relations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to use your relationship and collaboration skills to monitor and enhance behavioral health services in the community! In this position, you will manage ADAMH provider performance activities with an innovative thought leader approach on collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure an exceptional provider experience. Put your skills to use supporting accountability, subject matter expertise, customer service, and issue resolution to further ADAMH’s mission and vision of supporting all individuals and families in Franklin County in achieving optimal mental health and wellness.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for oversight and monitoring of ADAMH investment with assigned addiction/mental health adult housing providers.
  • Interpret reports (utilization, outcomes submissions, client satisfaction) to make data informed decisions and develop data informed strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain positive provider, partner, and internal/external stakeholder relationships through regular on-site and/or virtual/digital visits.
  • Represents ADAMH in associations, workgroups, committees, and task forces to develop working relationships with key constituency groups.
  • Collaborates across operational teams to drive positive provider outcomes.
  • Analyzes trends and aligns operational initiatives to support assigned provider agency in identifying, monitoring, and responding to behavioral health disparities and developing innovative solutions.
  • Manages provider performance activities; develops performance improvement plans; offers guidance and technical assistance to providers with identified performance concerns; coordinates risk assessments of specific investments; recommends 120-day provider contract notices when warranted.
  • Assists in the development of service appropriations and financing strategies to support the provider network development and improvement.
  • Implements special projects with efficiency and effectiveness to the specifications of the funding agency including design, coordination and data reporting.
  • Serves as a knowledge and resource expert to develop prompt resolution of provider issues.
  • Participates in policy and practice discussions, liaison activities, implementation of procedures, and coordinates meetings as appropriate
  • Manages and coordinates the collection, dissemination and analysis of trends related to services provided; coordinates investigative efforts on questionable trends and patterns warranting further exploration.
  • Review findings analyzes data and prepares useful and timely reports to provide collaborative support for the Director, Clinical Services in matters regarding appropriateness of admission, quality of treatment, compliance with continued stay, and discharge criteria.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in in public administration, public policy, business administration, behavioral health, social services or related field is required

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in public administration, public policy or business administration in behavioral health, social services or related field is required. Two (2) years of vendor/provider management in the behavioral health or social services space is strongly preferred. Two (2) years’ experience working with mental heath adult housing strongly preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of culturally diverse customers, staff, and public.
  • Knowledge of /experience in delivering evidence-based practices.
  • Able to assess, evaluate and think critically (problem solving skills)
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Excellent computer skills that facilitate the collection, analysis and dissemination of data.
  • Working knowledge of community resources.
  • Able to work and problem solve independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation skill and ability to interact with staff on all levels and disciplines.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement/assurance standards and methods.
  • Able to build credibility between direct service providers.
  • Adept at creating and managing environmental change by using problem-solving,
  • Mediation, analytical and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of and working experience in programs and services for MH adult housing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively and creatively problem-solve, analyze and use data, and plan and facilitate change.
