Job Description: Safety Administrator

Pay Range Commensurate with Industry Experience

Schedule Typically Monday through Friday and additional days as needed

Position Summary: The position of Safety Administrator will follow company safety department processes to perform general administrative duties.

Job Duties

• Integrate project safety related documentation across all current platforms such as Share point, Procore, FYLD, Cority, Individual external hard drives, and hard copy forms
• Assist Safety Manager/Deputy Safety Manager to collect and access daily documentation to create leading indicator analytics and identify/communicate potential areas, individuals, conditions, or groups that may benefit from additional support from the safety department or other managers.
• Assist with claims management. Track restricted duty and days away per individual. Gather additional documentation such as medical bills and submit to respective claims manager. Maintain regular, cordial contact with claimants to demonstrate genuine concern, encourage appointment follow through, coordinate timely return to work, minimize litigation.
• Create Monthly report of deliverables for project controls to include ongoing safety meeting individual participation broken out by specific crews and managers.
• coordinate collection of subcontractor monthly safety reports and create Manhours, Injury and KPI reports for Ferrovial Construction US
• Coordinate/schedule subcontractor orientation and collection of prerequisite documentation; create Project ID Badges.
• Create and disseminate safety related meeting minutes, incident reports, intervention summaries, lessons learned and other safety department communications.
• Maintain/update training matrix.
• Weekly inventory of Safety Supplies.
• Generally, assist safety manager with administrative tasks.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Office related programs is required
• OSHA Training10 or 30 Hour preferred
• Heavy Civil Construction experience preferred
• Experience preparing data analytics a plus
