Alamo Drafthouse is looking for a detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to primarily support our venues’ infrastructure and computing requests as their primary function - including, but not limited to, our point of sale systems, laptops, desktops, servers and operating systems that keep our theaters running smoothly.They’ll be a critical team member, able to handle virtually any technical challenge coming their way. They will be the key person to identify potential issues and develop/resolve problems within the existing technology stack which brings notable challenges compared to a traditional theater or food service provider, as we are both.Success in the role will require being service minded and driven to fully understand and solve problems. In addition to these requirements, they will need to be highly organized/thorough while also being able to communicate technical information in an educational and easily understandable way. Each situation varies in size and technical depth with an ever-changing technology stack, so being curious, finding useful information without outside direction, and being driven to always improve knowledge is a must.
