Alakaina Family of Companies is Hiring an IT Business Analyst Near Atlanta, GA

The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for an Information Technology Busienss Analyst, to providce services for our government customer located in Atlanta, GA. Telework options might be available with prior authorization.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support for the SCORM Content Controller (SCC) system to include:
    • Work with the application vendor and AHB to schedule upgrades, maintenance, and provide change requests in a timely manner.
    • Respond to security alerts as needed, initiate and track change requests for security updates within the designated timeframes.
    • Maintain a working server and software inventory, to include server names, IP addresses, and software versions installed on each system.
    • Develop and maintain documentation of the system, to include the server and network infrastructure, as well as security requirement paperwork and application specific documentation as needed.
  • Provide support for Training and Continuing Education Online (TCEO) to include:
    • Attend regular status meetings with client and vendor and serve as a conduit to fill any gaps between the two.
    • Provide technical assistance to the client on an as needed basis.
    • Develop and maintain documentation of the accreditation system, to include system and network infrastructure, as well as application specific documentation as needed.
    • Support the TCEO system retirement planning and execution.
  • Provide support for eProposal to include:
    • Attend regular status meetings with client and vendor and serve as a conduit to fill any gaps between the two.
    • Provide technical assistance to the client on an as needed basis.
    • Develop and maintain documentation of the accreditation system, to include system and network infrastructure, as well as application specific documentation as needed.
  • Provide support for CDC TRAIN to include:
    • Attend regular status meetings with client and vendor and serve as a conduit to fill any gaps between the two.
    • Provide technical IT and other support as needed for the planning and migration of TCEO capabilities to CDC TRAIN.
    • Develop and maintain documentation of the system, to include server and network infrastructure, as well as application specific documentation as needed.
  • Provide general IT and administrative support to include:
    • Facilitate monthly education and training system meetings with program staff, ITDSU staff, and DSEPD leadership.
      • Provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions for the IT systems in this meeting.
    • Respond to share drive access requests
      •  Add and remove users from share drives as needed and directed.
      •  Escalate any access issues to ITSO as needed and directed.
    • Provide general oversight for eFMS trouble ticket system, Issue Tracker, and Development Tracker deliverables.
    • Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.
    • Schedule meetings for ITDSU on an as needed basis.
    • Maintain meeting recordings and meeting minutes as directed.
    • Act as a liaison between ITDSU and end-users as directed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Have a working knowledge of CentOS7, Windows Server, and MySQL,

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, and 7 or more years of experience.

CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
