Alacrity Solutions is Hiring a Remote Credentialing Specialist

The Credentialing Specialist is primarily responsible for establishing and managing contract/vendor files and relationships. This individual engages with a wide variety of internal and external parties to identify and resolve contractual credentialing requirements. This position requires critical analysis of credentialing documentation, such as insurance and background checks, and involves collaboration and cooperation across multiple departments, including Recruiting, Operations, Business Development and Account
Management. This is a remote based,full time position.

Primary Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with the assigned contractors to better assist in problem resolution and acquiring the necessary document updates (insurance renewals, VCC’s, Background checks, subrogation, etc.)
  •  Notify the assigned contractors of outstanding issues such as expired insurance certificates and necessary disclosure statements. Follow up as necessary.
  • Review and validate submitted information.
  • Communicate with Regional Field Managers regarding outstanding issues related to the assigned contractors in their areas.
  •  Answer telephone calls from contractors and vendors.
  •  Distribute all paperwork related to contracts, renewals, and applications through the proper channels.
  • Respond to new contractor inquiries.
  • Complete new contractor credentialing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills
  •  Effectively organize and manage multiple priorities
  •  Attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of web browsers – Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.
  •  Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and be a team player
