Description

The Controller will supervise and direct the Accounting Department; oversee the financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory filing functions of the Credit Union. The Controller is responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls to adequately safeguard Credit Union assets and ensure that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with applicable polices, regulations and GAAP. 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least ten years of professional accounting experience required (or fewer with CPA license). Needs strong excel skills. Must be able to work well with various departments and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to motivate, train, and supervise a number of TEAM members. 

Preferred qualifications - experience maintaining financials for a small business and comfortable with multiple owners, draws, and Quickbooks. CPA license preferred.
