Our facility is currently looking for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities

Mammography Technologist / Mammography Tech

The Mammography Technologist will:

• Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments; 
• Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice;
• Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter- and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict. 
• Performs and maintains all quality assurance/controls required by any accreditation and state rules/regulations (if applicable).
• Comply with clinical accreditation and licensing requirements for the facility and technologist, as well as submission deadlines
• Assist with clinical accreditation applications and inspections
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Mammography Technologist / Mammography Tech

Qualified candidates will have:

• Radiological mammographic procedures is required;

• ARRT Certification RT (R) (M) required

• CPR certification is required

• State license required for radiation (if applicable)

• The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.

Education

• Completion of an accredited ARRT program and at least 1 year Mammography experience.

• Advanced modality certification is required.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, HIS/RIS and PACS.
