Job Summary: The Business Analyst will provide administrative assistance and contract support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Office of Security & Integrity (OSI). The Business Analyst will report to On-Site Supervisor and provide support to the OSI Personnel Security Division (PSD) directly with preparing training and other office materials, assist with scheduling meetings and training events, notetaking and transcription. Job Responsibilities: - Provide financial support by conducting audits of fiscal transactions and generate purchasing documents. - Assist government employees in creating training materials, coordination and set-up of training sites as needed. - Support the government in property control task by receiving computer equipment and disposing of government equipment that is no longer in operable condition. - Support the setup for new government and contract employees by requesting system access, computer equipment and office supplies. - Receive incoming and outgoing SECRET mail and packages. - Conduct reoccurring financial audits on transactions on invoices received to ensure validity of detailed information. - Generate financial purchasing documentations such as purchase card worksheets and G-514s for processing by federal personnel. - Receive and route incoming telephone calls and facsimile receipts. - Assist the government with escorting uncleared vendors and visitors to the facility. - Assist with contacting OIT Help Desk services to facilitate IT support for equipment and network activities. - Attend and document meeting minutes; transcribe recorded meetings for distribution to appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum High School Diploma/GED. - Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience. - Strong attention to detail, ability to set and manage deadlines, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment. - Ability to work independently, think logically and work effectively within group settings. - Ability to receive general guidance and instructions from a supervisor or via established standard operating procedures, and act upon them with minimal supervision. - High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Excel, Access and Word and experience with database software applications. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Excellent typing skills and telephone and email etiquette. - Strong customer service skills. - U.S Citizenship is required in accordance with the security requirements of the above referenced federal government contract. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
