Akelius is seeking a customer service focused porter to join the maintenance team.

The successful candidate must be ambitious, friendly, courteous, and compassionate and comfortable with people of all age groups.

The porter conducts the day-to-day cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of all common indoor and outdoor areas of the property.

• maintain a neat and tidy appearance of both the interior and exterior of our buildings
• sweep, mop, sorting trash and recyclables
• able to lift up to fifty pounds

• assist residents with packages up and down stairs when needed
• receive deliveries, unpack, and store maintenance equipment and materials
• hourly rate: ability to make overtime pay when needed

who you are

• one plus year of related experience
• courteous and professional with residents and colleagues
• possesses a strong work ethic

• always punctual, have prior experience in building maintenance
• willing to work weekends and overtime when necessary
