Why we need you

We are growing! We are looking for a strong, creative, and collaborative compliance director experienced in building out and maturing processes and programs, who is passionate about supporting a growing business and creating a highly effective compliance culture. We need your help and involvement to mature company compliance and privacy program components. You will assess, mature, and report on our compliance capabilities so that the company complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations, contractual requirements, that policies are being followed and that behavior in the organization meets these requirements.

This position is anticipated to be primarily remote, but the ideal candidate should be able to come into the St. Paul office on an as needed basis, during orientation and for special projects/meetings. Hybrid work option is also available, if preferred.

Qualifications:

  • JD, Compliance Certification, MLS, or comparable healthcare compliance experience
  • Experienced in researching complex compliance and legal issues and synthesizing that information into understandable information for leaders and professional staff
  • You have exceptional people skills, with prior experience training and engaging staff as well as serving as an approachable compliance and privacy subject matter expert
  • You look at compliance as a supportive partnership, while being able to provide oversight and ensure accountability
  • You have strong relationship building skills with ability to effectively manage group and interpersonal conflict situations
  • You have strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
  • You have strong contract drafting and interpretation skills
  • Capable of working with diverse populations in a collaborate environment, empathetic, non-judgement and inclusive

What you’ll do

  • Work with the Chief Compliance Officer and other executive leaders to implement and mature ethics and compliance, privacy and information security, third party oversight, product compliance, and enterprise risk program components.
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures
  • Monitor, analyze, and brief business teams on regulatory changes and changes in regulatory enforcement
  • Oversee validation of business response to regulatory requirements and changes
  • Provide compliance input and subject matter expertise in support of product development and product management, potentially including licensing and scope of practice areas
  • Oversee program activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization and Compliance Program to achieve a successful program outcomes
  • Ensure that program, policies and procedures of the organization comply with relevant legislation, compliance standards, and contractual requirements

  • Have the ability to prioritize and maintain multiple, competing priorities
