Job Description

A week in the life of the Software Developer, Associate includes:

• Work in an Agile environment while demonstrating your knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design.
• Analyze user needs and work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
• Assess software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Design, develop, document, test and debug applications in a continuous software development and integration environment.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to innovate processes towards the design and implementation of future enhancements.

Job Requirements

• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in software development, software engineering, computer science, etc.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Excellent intepersonal /commincations skills, and the ability to wark as part of a team
• Demonstrated knowledge monitoring and administering parallel filesystems such as Lustre, BeeGFS, GPFS, etc.
• Practical experience scripting in Bash, Perl, Python, or similar languages.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and practices.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $75,000-110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
