Air Force One is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Dublin, OH

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will be an integral part of Air Force One’s recruiting team and will serve as a critical component of the Company’s ongoing organic growth strategy. This role will serve as a consultative business partner to hiring managers to ensure successful execution of recruiting strategies aimed at achieving high volume hiring needs across the company.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience working as a full-life cycle recruiter preferred.
  • Prior Skilled Trades recruiting experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source, screen, interview and make hire recommendations for qualified candidates throughout the company.
  • Conduct proactive needs analysis with hiring managers to establish execution plan to achieve staffing solutions and high volume hiring during peak business demands across designated business area; advise and make decisions around candidate selection throughout hiring life cycle.
  • Maintain candidate log and KPI’s of the position.
  • Build strong relationships with internal employees to aid in recruiting new associates.
  • Establish a long-term relationship with one or more key vocational schools in each company market.
  • Promote company values and enable business success through job design, recruitment, career development, performance management, training, talent management, and other human resource functions.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt and understand changing hiring needs and be creative in finding candidates to fit those parameters.
  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
  • Proactively engages in departmental discussions to identify opportunities/needs for improvement, across all areas of recruitment.
  • Develops and maintains extensive and effective network of professional associations within the industry to ensure a continuous flow of candidates.
  • Serve as brand ambassador in marketplace by supporting and championing company’s recruitment branding strategy to effectively attract top talent by building awareness and promoting localized recruiting efforts through social media channels.
  • Effectively track recruiting metrics i.e., referral source, time to fill, cost per hire, diversity, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED POSITION KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must possess strong communication skills (verbal and written), work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to handle complex scope/multiple projects and ensure that schedules, quality, and best practices are achieved.
  • Ability to support multi-site geographically dispersed facilities.
  • Human Resources— Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, compensation and benefits, associate relations, and Applicant Tracking System.
  • Law and Government — Understands and follows HR guidelines and principles as they pertain to recruiting and hiring.
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling the Air Force One experience. This includes the benefits of working for the company, culture, core values, etc.

DESIRED COMPUTER/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:

  • Microsoft Word (Intermediate - Advanced). Ability to generate professional correspondence with strong attention to detail and formatting.
  • Microsoft Excel (Intermediate - Advanced). Ability to create formulas, tables, import/export to and from databases.
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Applicant Tracking System (i.e., JazzHR) – Indeed
  • Social Media Platforms: LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
