Annual Salary $70,000-$85,000

The role

Supply Chain Analyst

Mission of the role

Support the supply chain function by overseeing the timely and accurate cost submittals for all customers and drive accurate demand forecasting for the MRP system.

Accountabilities

• Analyze RFQ cost for ingredient accuracy and labor. Monitor & control cost submittals.
• Oversee supplier-approved cost & MPL. Maintain Master Price List (MPL) for all customers and suppliers. Account for all submitted costs and track accrued revenue along with the finance team.
• Ensure pricing is entered in airline systems accurately (price, effective date, payment). Monthly publication of outstanding zero cost and pending approvals.
• Maintain a list of all submitted codes by customer tracking submittal date, effective date, cost, and final date cost is approved and loaded properly. Cost analysis impact for accrued revenue, substitutions, and P&L Analysis as requested by Senior Leadership
• Run MRP – forecast demand and set orders. Analyze abnormal movement for sporadic items such as special meals to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained and prevent loss of inventory
• Partner on customer menu presentations and ensure specifications are accurate and priced accordingly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of supply chain analyst experience or equivalent, ideally in food production or manufacturing.
• Complete understanding of ingredient yielding, cost analysis, supply & demand for MPR, and trend awareness to ensure alignment with overall supply chain processes and goals.
• Bachelors degree required

Ideally, APICS (The American Production and Inventory Control Society) certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) with emphasis on:

• Inventory management principles, policies, and techniques include stocking levels, order quantities, safety stocks, handling, and storage requirements.
• Planning Material Requirements to Support the Master Schedule: Planning material requirements driven by the production schedule, including material requirements planning (MRP)
