What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at AIR Communities?
We are hiring a Staff Accountant to join our centralized Accounting team in the Denver Tech Center, CO, who will be responsible for:
- Ensuring accuracy of corporate financial records and reports for assigned duties.
- Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close process and management of our debt.
- Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide related variance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Manage Prepaid, Accrued Expenses and Fixed/Intangible Asset schedules including recording depreciation and amortization.
- Collaborating among departments to share accounting data and improve efficiencies.
- Preparing, reviewing, and distributing financial reports.
- Preparing roll forwards and financial analysis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficient use of Excel

- Expected pay rate of $63,000 - $77,000. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
