QUALIFICATIONS:
1. The person selected for this position must be responsible for the general supervision and management of a small group of children assigned by the director.
2. This person must be a sensitive and mature individual, at least nineteen years of age and prepared to be a teacher of young children, as well as meet the requirements of the licensing agency.
3. The person must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the educational philosophy and guidelines of the school.
4. Must show emotional stability and security and be in good health with no restrictions.
5. Must be able to lead one classroom and be responsible for preparing the teaching program in the classroom, supervising the teachers, as well as work together with other staff members.
6. Must be willing to continually increase knowledge in the field of endeavor.
7. Must be able to implement our curriculum through prepared lessons, learning centers and free play supervision. Must also help to create a stimulating learning environment.
8. Mentor staff members
