Drywall Hangers / Finishers / Painters

Candidates should have reliable means of transportation and valid drivers license. Aim Construction is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. This is a full time position. This includes maintaining the highest quality while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.

These positions require physical demands including by not limited to:

· Balancing, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, climbing, crouching, and reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling various weights up 50-100 pounds,

· Use of hands/wrists with various tools and also with power, rotation and vibration tools,

· Ladder climbing multiple times a day,

· Working at heights – scaffolding, ladder, other elevated height work

· Utilization of mobile equipment – forklift, scissor aerial platform lifts.

Responsibilities and skills required include:

• Operate hand tools, power tools and equipment safely
• Cut drywall to proper size for installation.
• Carry and hang drywall, using screw gun to attach to wall.
• Install corner bead, Bullnose and other metal as needed.
• Includes cleanup, scrapping, moving material, tools, or equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds.
• Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Mobilize / Demobilize jobsite materials/tools/equipment
• Works closely with project manager.
• Good Communication
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and professionalism
• Assist Superintendent in maintaining construction schedule, & identifying and solving problems
• Responsible to maintain an organized job site
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze work flows, processes and production and problem solve to resolve, and enforce quality control
• Demonstrate the ability to encourage personal and professional development in team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Painting experience is a plus

Must be prepared to work with a wide range of people, from labors, facility managers and/or property owners

• Durango, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
