Overview

Under general supervision, provides support in administration and maintenance of Human Resources activities including recruitment, employment and departmental operations. Responsible for providing support for the department when requested. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Inc. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of ARMC and AHMC Inc. The employee shall support AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to; Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and AHMC Inc initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent related work experience (minimum 4 years Human Resources experience or Human Resources certification)
• Proficient in computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint); Knowledge of HRIS system required. Knowledge of Access helpful.
• Recruiting experience preferred
• Knowledge of EEO and Labor Law
• Strong analytical thinking skills and self-starter.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving skills, accuracy and effective communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as a team; exhibits team support.
• Demonstrates flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
