Location: Austin Job Title: HR Systems Manager Job Description: Position Summary: Reporting to the Sr. Director, Total Rewards, this role manages and supports HR systems (primarily Workday HCM). Serves as a strategic business partner for HR functions, enabling the HR team to achieve their objectives through efficient and effective HR systems and processes. Responsible for HR data management, system upgrades and maintaining data integrity. Serves as the primary liaison between HR and the Technology function, and works collaboratively with Accounting and Finance. Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and drive the planning, development, testing and implementation of Workday HCM projects. Troubleshoots issues, reporting, design, configuration and testing to implement solutions to drive adoption and ease of use. Ensure data integrity in Workday HCM in support of HR business processes, including supervisory organization creation and maintenance. Evaluate HR business processes and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, including workflow and approval automation and manager self service Provide subject matter expertise on HR systems and participate in enhancement design and scoping. Clearly articulate the merits and disadvantages of solution options to support informed decisions by stakeholders. Communicates system issues and/or enhancements in a clear and concise manner. Able to simplify technical language by communicating effectively to non-technical users. Regularly evaluate current state of systems to identify and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and/or new applications to support business strategies and operational needs Spearheads the design, user testing, and implementation of new report development, system enhancements as well as system break fixes. Required Qualifications: Minimum Experience Minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive experience in HR Advanced knowledge of HR business processes such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, talent management, learning and development. Excellent project management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision. HR system and data savvy, able to pull and quickly summarize large amounts of data. Highly proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint. Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM. Excellent communication, collaboration and change management skills. Ability to speak both business process and technical process based on the audience. Possess strong quantitative, critical thinking and analytical skills. Self-driven, highly motivated, and an independent thinker. Education: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience in HR or related field
