We are looking for a professional civil engineer with project management experience who is client focused and has experience in civil land development project leadership on both public and private site development projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your career by taking part in business development initiatives to a diverse group of clients while mentoring engineering staff, guiding civil site design, and maintaining quality control.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role is an opportunity to guide civil site design, manage and mentor engineering staff on wide range of projects, including municipal buildings, roadways, military infrastructure, urban infill sites, K-12 schools, college campuses, and multi-family residential developments. You will serve as a project manager on complex projects and will interact directly with clients. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and directing all phases of complex civil engineering projects on a variety of project types. In this role, you will oversee all engineering operations including budgeting, scheduling, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines, including coordinating with other management staff on multi-disciplinary projects. You will nurture and grow client relationships to support business development initiatives. As a manager within the organization, you will lead a team of talented civil engineers to ensure client satisfaction on every project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• PE License
• 10 years of civil site design, utility design, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management and erosion/sediment control in Western Washington.
• 5 years in a civil consulting role with a progressive pattern of increased responsibility including staff mentoring and managing client relationships.
• Proven Project Management experience on complex projects including developing and managing project schedules and budgets.
• Extensive knowledge of storm water modeling using MGS Flood, WWHM, and other software.
• Experience producing construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with civil design and permitting within City of Seattle.

COMPENSATION

Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The range is based on a 40-hour work week.

• $96,311 - $125,205 per year.
• Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
