One of the Bay Area's top restaurants, the nation's first Michelin-recognized barbecue spots, and premier catering choice is seeking a unique opportunity for an experienced catering specialist to earn great money driving our off-premise business. Again, experience in some sort of catering, food service, events, hospitality sales is required. If you don't, please provide some reason as to why you should still be considered.
Responsibilities and duties to include...
1. Outreach to extensive current clients via email, phone, and in person meetings
2. Generate online and print marketing/indirect marketing/sales
3. Sales via 3rd party companies (eg: Catercow, Fooda, etc)
4. General management of orders/logistics and operations.
5. Using your current network list (if applicable) and knowledge of corporate clients to sign up new custeomers
6. Advise on marketing strategies that will bring in new business
7. Liaison with restaurant(s) operations to hand off bookings
8. Stay within budget provided
9. Administrative management thru Catering CRM
10. Report to and accept feedback from executive team that you will be responsible to
This is a base pay commission independent contractor position that relies heavily on commissions but has no limit to what you can make! Basically, the more you sell, the more you make. But with a Who's Who of prominent and wealthy catering clients at your fingertips, the skies the limit for the right person.
