Are you passionate about troubleshooting, problem solving and learning new technologies? Bored with the same repetitive daily tasks? We are looking for an IT Specialist/Systems Administrator that likes variety in what they do. You’ll be responsible for general help desk support, network management, server maintenance, new solution development with the option to advance your knowledge of software and hardware technologies outside of the normal system administrator box.
If you have a good understanding of some of the technologies in our environment and are willing to learn and excel in the technology field, then you’ll enjoy working with us.

Responsibilities
- Administer and Maintain servers, personal computers, active directory, group policies, printers, routers, gateways, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, security cameras, smart phones, desk phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems.
- Troubleshoot and address problems reported by users, including general help desk support.
- Make recommendations for upgrades and improvements to systems and processes.
- Maintain, monitor and proactively resolve network, system and security related issues.
- Repair and recover from hardware and/or software failures.
- Effectively manage your time, track your projects and communicate project status.
- Maintain documentation of all processes, equipment, inventory, licenses and related materials.
- Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches.
- Willingness to step outside the box and take on new technologies.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 Years managing a Small to Mid-Sized Windows environment.
- Experience managing Windows Servers within an Active Directory environment.
- Experience supporting Windows desktop systems.
- Able to install network cabling and equipment in non-office settings.
- Available to be on-call to work nights, weekends and holidays, if required.
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
