Senior Accountant
Agility 360 is searching for a qualified, energetic and highly skilled Senior Accountant for a 3-month contract to potential hire role with a growing company. The Senior Accountant will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities such as reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
Responsibilities
- Mortgage Insurance Premium (MIP) account daily reconciliation and clearing
- Process incoming MIP refund checks
- Funding Suspense account daily research /clearing
- Extended lock fee reconciliation clearing
- Weekly MIP and Extended Lock true up wires to ensure appropriate restricted cash balance
- Tracking and recording monthly loan level vendor accruals
- Tracking and recording monthly accruals for vendor expenses
- Due From/To Title (Wire Variance) account research and clearing
- Prepare month end reconciliations and balance sheet analysis
Skills
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting (required)
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (required)
- Mortgage originations experience is a plus
- Advanced skills including an advanced familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities
- Experience with a computerized general ledger and financial reporting software; Net Suite experience preferred
- Ability to work with limited supervision, manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- 3-month Contract to potential hire role
- Location: Coppell, TX (Hybrid schedule)
- Pay Rate: $40/hr
- Employment consideration is contingent on passing a background check
