About the Role:

AgencyQ is actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Analyst to join our team in Bethesda, MD. Our business analysts are the drivers behind our continued growth and success. With our commitment to innovation, it’s our business analysts who seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for our customers with the goal of improved efficiency and productivity. From researching systems solutions to evaluating their impact, our ideal candidate is a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst who can translate big goals into a concrete plan. They should be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing marketing technology landscape.

Objectives of this Role

• Drive identification of requirements across customers and identify substandard processes through the analysis of data, interviews of customers and subject matter experts.
• Serve as thought leader for business processes, developing forward-thinking vision of how to increase efficiency and productivity for our customers.
• Create and communicate a vision and recommendations to improve our customers business that aligns with their goals.
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough project life cycles to ensure the vision of business improvement is actuated through the development and delivery of our projects to our customers.
• Determine and develop user requirements to ensure maximum usability and business goal achievement.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Partner with other stakeholder teams internally and externally with our customers (i.e., sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
• Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
• Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science or similar/relevant experience.
• 5 years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development and/or implementation capacity
• Proven Experience working with Marketing Technology (MarTech) such as Adobe AEM, Sitecore or similar DXP systems.
• Proven analytical abilities.
• Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with marketing technologies including integration of complex systems.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio, preferred.
• Project and user-testing management experience.
• Proven development of innovative and impactful business solutions.
• Extensive experience with data visualization.
• Proficient technical writing capabilities.
