ABOUT THE ROLE
The Intake Coordinator works directly under the supervision of the Area Vice President. This position works in collaboration with the admissions, marketing, and billing teams. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the patient intake process including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and managing the insurance verification and authorization processes. Works collaboratively with the members of the clinical team to ensure referrals are responded to promptly and appointments for admission assessments are scheduled the same day.
