We are looking for a bookkeeper who has solid experience with QuickBooks. You would be accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected. The right candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills to ensure all client requirements are met in a professional and timely manner.

This role will be located in Lynnwood, WA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the accounting and processing of the contract and overhead payables.
• Facilitate Job Start process and procedures.
• Facilitate and manage the contract and work order billing process for all assigned projects assuring accuracy across records
• Track lien waivers, retention payments, vendor/sub inquiries.
• Assist with determining gross margins, client billing requirements, and other job cost processes.
• Assist with collections and recording cash.
• Assist with month-end closing which includes bank reconciliations and job cost reporting.
• Assist with development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• including: office administration, Insurance, benefits, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (Experience is also considered).
• 1-3 years recent service project accounting experience
• Construction industry experience a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong Microsoft Office skillset (Excel functions and pivot tables).
• Communicate professionally with everyone, both internal and external.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must.
