BILLABLE LABOR CATEGORY: Cost Analyst

CAREER LADDER TITLE: SME I, II

LOCATION: Huntsville, AL (Remote 20-40% on-site)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are actively seeking a candidate for a Cost Analyst who will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding financial data for the Army's financial system of record (GFEBS) and data reporting from Business Intelligence (Bl) which will include appropriations across multiple years (OMA, RDTE, and APA). The analyst will assist with fielding various requests for logistical costing data to support analysis tasks throughout the defense community. Department of Defense analysts have found historical operational and support (O&S) data useful in projecting O&S costs for future systems, developing O&S cost analyses, and preparing O&S estimates. We are currently seeking an Analyst to assist in the determination of repair costs and reimbursement rates and assist with identifying repair cost alternatives.

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Handle all Government Risk and Compliance (GRC) for PM UAS to give all key personnel roles for access

to GFEBS.

  • Reconcile Labor and Payroll for UAS, including ATTAPS for Labor and DCPS for Payroll.
  • Facilitate the newly rolled out GFEBS-SA platform.
  • Help to facilitate all Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Sales Orders as required for contracts.
  • Reconcile all IDOCS for PM UAS.
  • Create reports requested or required within the financial program (GFEBS) and Bl (Business Intelligence).
  • GCSS - Army access for contact with DFAS and input GCSS financial data into GFEBS.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions and job aids for over-the-shoulder support for end users.
  • Support FMS (Foreign Military Sales) for UAS.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree

Waiverable/Substitutable:

14 years of work experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEB) experience.
  • Experience with Government Risk and Compliance (GRC) for PM UAS.
  • Experience conducting Labor and Payroll reconciliation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience supporting FMS (Foreign Military Sales) for UAS.

The implementation and enforcement of Executive Order 14043 are currently suspended under an injunction pending further litigation.
