Essential Functions:

• Analyze revenues and direct expenses to ensure transactions are recorded appropriately
• Analyze and record revenue/cost accruals and deferrals as needed
• Prepare cost analysis reports for usage of inventory and any other costs
• Record amortization entries as needed
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all revenue related accounts such as unbilled and deferred revenue
• Prepare monthly customer and intercompany invoices per contractual requirements
• Report on aged AR items and communicate with project managers for payment updates
• Develop rapport with internal and external customers for fluent communication
• Assist project control with project setup for revenue and billing
• Assist compliance department with contract de-obligations and closeout
• Assist in yearly financial audits
• Prepare and file quarterly sales tax returns
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related discipline preferred
• At least 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience preferred with heavy emphasis on billing and support of all billing related functions, or 5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Unanet, Deltek or other ERP systems experience preferred
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience required
• Familiarity with GAAP; DFAR a plus
• Must be detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work individually and with other team members with minimum supervision
• Due to the sensitive and classified nature of the work we perform, US citizenship is a requirement
