Essential Functions:

• Lead a team of Finance professionals in the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plans, and Modeling tools.
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
• Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plansQuarterly and Monthly Financial reporting
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
• Implement Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports.
• Contribute to the mprovement of company performance by evaluating finance and back office processes to drive efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
• Supporting Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis of revenues, cost of goods sold and indirect spending.
• Prepare financial presentations for the Senior Management Team, PE partners, and lenders as requested
• Participate in the proposal evaluation process and prepare ROI analysis to include capital spending requirements, cash flow, and profits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, MBA highly preferred
• 15 years of finance experience, with demonstrated success of at least 10 years in within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Strong leadership skills
• Government Contracting experience required and working familiarity with government accounting and reporting systems
• Knowledge of GAAP, project and cost accounting, and indirect rate allocations in a GovCon environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience working with and reporting from ERP systems (Deltek, SAP, Netsuite or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of leadership
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity that encourages team collaboration.
• Proven FP&A skills
