AES Clean Technology has an opportunity for a Production Supervisor – 2nd shift to join our team in Suwanee, GA. 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the Production department in a safe, profitable, and efficient manner through proper utilization of assigned manpower, materials, equipment, and space. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating all activities within his scope of control and for setting priorities necessary to accomplish predetermined goals.

Responsibilities of this role:

· Supervises during assigned shift to ensure metrics are met for production, quality and employee performance. 

· Responsible for on-the-job training of employees including back up operators and completing the required documentation.

· Responsible for promoting and enforcing safety rules and policies. Adhering to company safety 

· Recommends candidates for hire, promotion, demotion, transfer, or release. Reviews are scheduled and proper documentation must be maintained.

· Utilizes problem solving skills and techniques and takes corrective action to eliminate any deviation.

· Reports potential production downtime, scrap production and quality of each machine under the supervisor’s responsibility and summarizes data from shift.

· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What it takes:

• 3 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

· Ability to work 2nd shift hours which include 3pm-11:30pm

• Ability to understanding of the operating principles of all assigned equipment.

• Ability to identify product defects using appropriate inspection procedures and test equipment.

• Ability to effectively instruct and train other employees.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.

• Must be able to organize, plan and prioritize.

• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
