Senior Program Manager 

Aerospike is the global leader in next-generation, real-time NoSQL data solutions for any scale. Aerospike is a flexible distributed database with furious speed, low latencies and the ability to easily scale from Gigabytes to Petabytes. We work with a number of customers including PayPal, Snap, Adobe, Verizon Media and Wayfair.

Responsibilities:

• Own the program across Engineering departments: Manage program/multiple project plans and timelines, influence priorities, monitor and review progress, identify and mitigate risks, and manage dependencies 
• Exercise solid program leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills 
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Aerospike, guiding timely escalation and/or negotiation up the chain when needed 
• Drive day-to-day execution including planning, tracking, documentation and reporting 
• Ensure appropriate, regular cadence of communication across all stakeholders 
• Help design & roll out internal process workflows and metrics 
• Lead and implement process improvements (change management) while managing active projects 
• Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements 
• Employ negotiation, conflict management and leadership skills to keep the program on track and on budget 
• Have courageous conversations regarding budget, resources and timeline and formally capture and communicate outcomes of those meetings 
• Conduct retrospectives and gather feedback and data on program success metrics 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
• 5 years of experience in a Program Management Role with proven track record of delivering business value 
• Outstanding communication and listening skills with an ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to a variety of audiences 
• Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment to manage issue resolution 
• Ability to execute and manage performance and expectations within a cross-functional, matrix management environment 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence senior executives and team members at all levels of the organization
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to perform business / systems analysis to assist with process solutions
• Preferred certifications in one or more: PMP, Agile Scrum Master, Scaled Agile, APMG, Six Sigma Belts 
• Preferred direct experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, security, product, and data science
• Experience overcoming the difficulties of managing projects with remote and global team members
