Additional Compensation

Aegis may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the complete product life-cycle of information technology-oriented IRES Contract sustainment projects accomplished in the following MDA organizations C2BMC Test Bed, BNOSC, GM infrastructure, and JFCC-IMD at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), Schriever SFB, CO.
• Apply classical systems engineering approaches to requirements analysis, technical assessments and trade studies, and provide project technical oversight.
• Be involved in the following activities
• customer interface
• system requirements analysis
• requirements development
• requirements management
• risk/opportunity identification and management
• functional analysis
• functional architecture development
• system design support
• trade studies
• Be in a position that requires the following
• interface control specification development
• impact assessment of customer requests
• briefing development and presentation
• cross-organization coordination
• testing and verification of delivered products and services
• validation of documentation and verification case development

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience HS Diploma (or GED) and 6 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 4 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 2 years of general experience; Master's degree and 0 years of general experience.
• If this position requires travel selected candidate must be willing to provide proof of fully vaccinated (against COVID-19) status? (the process of which must be completed prior to the anticipated start date)
• Must have 4 years of directly related experience
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or an IT related field
• Have a systems engineering certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
• Have 2 years of experience working with Systems Engineering processes and tools supporting requirements development, risk management, trade studies/ analysis, and Verification and Validation
• Have experience with IT architecture development
• Be familiar with information technology concepts {i.e., communication networks, computer and networking hardware)
• Be proficient with MS Office applications {including Visio, and MS Project)
• Have a basic understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Have knowledge of Missile Defense and DoD communications systems
• Have experience with MDIOC operations
