Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Project Controls Sr Manager to be based in New York, NY.
As a member of our team, you would contribute to AECOM's mission by:
- Managing people and leading the project controls team in providing scheduling, cost management, document controls, reporting, and risk management services.
- Exceptional people skills and ability to establish and maintain efficient and effective relationships with key client staff, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders including Design, Engineering, PMO, Project Managers, CM and other members of the organization.
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to details and ability to translate data into insightful reports to assist management and client with decision making.
- Ability to work under pressure and concurrently handle multiple projects with strict deadlines. Experience with Design-Build, and Job Order Contracts are a plus.
- Strong skills in developing schedules through life cycle of Programs and Projects. Candidate is required to have solid experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong skills in reviewing and analyzing schedules from contractors and performing delay analysis on as needed basis
- Strong knowledge of databases, Power BI, and ability to create various business intelligence interactive dashboards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or any similar major.
- 10 years of experience in positions closely related to the role and 2 years of people management or leadership experience.
- Experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, E-Builder and other PMIS systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher
- Experience in establishing budgets, performing cash flow analysis, and earned value management.

- Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (NYC locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $73.81 - 125.00.
