The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving test automation for the platform. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you lead through others to ensure the team adheres to our automation best practices. This position requires the ability to understand and test detailed functional requirements. Candidates should possess an open mindset, be prepared for agile development cycles, and the ability to learn both technical and functional requirements quickly. Job Responsibilities: Lead efforts to develop and enhance QA processes for both manual and automated application testing with a heavy emphasis on automated testing Mentor others on the global Quality Assurance team drawing on your expertise in applications/modules assigned for testing Partner with product management and software engineers to execute testing tasks for assigned projects Work with product management and software engineers to produce on-time, high-quality releases (continuous delivery) Proactively communicates status and raises concerns with feature teams Write clear, comprehensive test plans for features to review with feature teams Develop automated regression testing for the product using Postman, Jenkins and other tools Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of application testing experience using automated approaches with enterprise software Bachelor's Degree required Must possess excellent listening, presentation, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly Experience in the financial services domain: Portfolio Management/Accounting, Trade Order Management, Risk Management a strong plus Enjoy juggling multiple tasks with a skill for prioritizing in a time-sensitive environment Burning desire to learn and continually improve Not afraid to ask questions or challenge ideas and processes Experience in agile methodologies –Scrum/Kanban Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) Technical experience with automated test tools for web based applications – Postman, Selenium, SoapUI, or Jmeter experience Experience with languages such as Python, Java Script, Perl, Ruby, SQL Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
