Job Description Responsible for approx. 30 clients in Northern Europe. Own the strategic business relationship, which include increasing adoption, ensuring retention and satisfaction. Act as a main contact for the account and overall account strategy Build relationships on c-level, but also with influencers, decision makers and the main users. Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services. Work with clients to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals. Own all product ACV activities Leverage other parts of the organization for complex sales cycles Cross sell products from other departments within the SS&C Advent organization Attain and exceed quarterly and annual quota Responsible for LOB Mapping & the creation of account plans for all relevant accounts Meet with Renewals to formulate strategy on key customer renewals Ensure timely renewals in cooperation with Renewals specialist Forecast accurately Develop necessary pipeline for Products and Services to exceed quarterly and annual quota Successfully diagnose business operations of prospects and prescribe appropriate Advent Office solution Keep yourself up to speed on relevant trends, changes and regulations in the market place. Use Salesforce effectively to manage the sales and lead process, lead generation to close, and maintain relevant data Responsible for capturing key metrics and enter into Salesforce Prospect and generate leads for assigned territory Provide focused insight for existing clients on the best possible solution for them and sell it Act as primary contact, closer, and all knowing resource in sale of the Advent Office offering (APX, Moxy, Geneva, Data Services and other products defined by business management and sales management.) Provide client with a point of contacts within the Advent organization. Effectively sell assigned products and leads generated for other members sales organization Effectively work with the regional team to provide excellent client experience. Maintain high level of account satisfaction. Grow the size of client’s Advent relationship by recommending products and services that will benefit client. Conduct onsite visits with clients on defined and as needed basis. Ensure high product adoption for the assigned clients base Conduct regular business reviews for the clients Keep the rest of the organization up to speed on client status and events. Ensure cross-functional collaboration in order to deliver a premium service to the clients. Required Qualifications: 3 years of field experience selling enterprise level software 3 years of Account Management experience Strong pro-active drive and commercial orientation Ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities at any one time and continue to meet deadlines and expectations. Ability to recognize the importance of an issue, and independently identify a solution in a timely manner or escalate if appropriate. High level of initiative and independent work capacity Basic ability to translate client requirements into compelling recommendations for product and business direction. Strong skills in meeting management Good knowledge of the investment management industry. Experience with front- and back-office systems and workflow (STP) for fund/asset management is a major plus. Experience in building business cases and perform return on investment analysis is desired. It is also an advantage to have in-depth understanding of various software packages and to have generally good IT/technical skills. Ability to prospect and build a pipeline Proficient at calling into various levels of an organization. Proficient at buying access into various levels of an organization. Proficient at identifying the right opportunities and their appropriateness for entering the pipeline. Proficient at handling objections. Proficient at controlling the steps of an evaluation Knowing the steps, you want to propose. Selling the prospect/client on incorporating your steps. Knowing when and how to involve Advent Executive Management. Ability to coach and prepare references Superior ability to build and maintain relationships Superior oral, written, and presentation skills Excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills Client and team oriented attitude Speaks local language Demonstrated leadership within the group and across the sales organization by: Consistently delivering results. Sets the example for work ethic, initiative, contagious enthusiasm, drive and professional conduct. Continuous demonstration of commitment. University-level degree and with relevant work experience (relationship manager, account manager, account executive, project manager or senior consultant for a provider of complex software solutions or alternatively from an investment management organization). Proficient in Windows and all MS Office applications.
