 Role Overview
Advantage Capital is seeking an Office Manager/Administrative Assistant (OM/AA) based in the New York city office who will work directly with our two Managing Directors, and will support the New York office employees, as well as other external partners. The OM/AA role maintains overall office operations and procedures and manages many day-to-day functions of the company. Other duties include: 
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Manage leadership’s calendars and scheduling 
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements 
  • Track expenses and prepare expense reports for leadership
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems
  • Prepare internal and external communications, to include memos, emails, presentations, and reports 
  • Scribe during meetings to capture decisions and action items
  • Triage incoming phone calls and requests
  • Organize and maintain the office filing system 
Qualifications
  •  3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills 
  • Familiarity with office equipment and applications (e.g., e-calendars and copy machines) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Discretion and confidentiality are a must
Preferred Skills 
  • Associate degree in related field
  • Intermediate Proficiency with Visio and Adobe Acrobat 
  • Experience with travel booking and arrangements 
  • Basic IT knowledge
