Osceola Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team in pulmonology and sleep health.
0.6-1.0 FTE
Responsibilities:
•The NP/PA will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health staff to provide all aspects of high-quality patient care for adult Pulmonary patients
•The primary area of responsibility will focus on patient care in the outpatient setting
•The NP/PA provision of care will include, but is not limited to, comprehensive evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments, non-pharmacologic therapies, patient education and communication with referring physicians to facilitate ongoing care and provide follow-up care for established patients
•The candidate will be expected to contribute to the establishment and building of the new practice and be open to practice changes based on the needs of the patients and the division
Qualifications:
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Wisconsin RN license and certification as an ACNP, ANP, GNP or FNP. (DNP is preferred) Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the WI state Board of Medical Practice. DEA registration and BLS certification required.
