Advanced Perio is looking for a customer service superstar to assist with our patient check-in at our busy downtown practice!

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are an essential part of the practice. You are in charge of greeting patients, checking them in, and ultimately making them feel at home. You help to ensure that our day runs smoothly, and to set you up for success, we are dedicated to training the right individual. The ideal candidate will be someone looking to learn and possibly advance their career because we offer plenty of opportunities for growth!

We are Advanced Perio, and we are one of the country's leading Periodontal offices. But we didn't get here alone! Responsibilities Include:
- Greet patients and check them in, ensuring they have all the necessary information that is needed for their appointment
- Communicate co-pays and patient balances to collect immediate payment when possible
- Assist with patient check out, and set follow up appointments
- Answer and field phone calls, making sure calls or messages are transferred to the correct party
- Monitor incoming emails and sort messages into the correct communication folders
- Document all conversations had with patients or about patients in the appropriate areas
- Schedule patients for exams, surgeries, and post operative appointments in the correct templated spots
- Print daily schedules and care slips, and distribute them to the team
- Properly manage patient records in a secure and confidential manner
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, ensuring the front desk and lobby are free of clutter and always look presentable to patients
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary & Benefits:
- $18-$22/hr
- Paid vacation time in accordance with company policies (1 week first year, 2 weeks second year, 3 weeks third year and beyond)
