Description
Advanced Pediatric Associates is seeking a Physician who is directly responsible for treating all types of infectious childhood diseases, conditions and chronic illnesses and is expected to be able to provide diagnosis based on visual and auditory indicators due to the different developmental growth stages of our patient population. The ideal candidate must be a positive, experienced, responsible individual who is committed to providing expertise to our busy practice.
This position may work at our Aurora, Centennial or Parker office.
With 50 years of experience, APA has taken special care to develop the services parents need in caring for their children as they grow. Our provider staff consists of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who specialize in providing pediatric care for children from infancy through adolescence. We strive to foster a caring partnership with families. Our goal is to provide a "medical home" to our patients, where families can expect compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care, convenient access to quality after-hours advice, and professional coordination of care between our providers and community specialists and services.
Our Nurse Line has set the gold standard for providing pediatric triage to families and has been recognized as a model for others in the local pediatric community. Advanced Pediatrics has been a leader in implementing an electronic medical records system (EMR). We value our patients' time and do our very best to minimize wait times. Our care coordinators utilize a sophisticated scheduling system that gives our providers the necessary time to see patients based on the patient's medical needs. In order to consistently provide the most advanced care to our patients, our clinical committee meets regularly to review the latest advancements in pediatric care. We highly value and support CME for our providers and staff. Our providers have a close relationship with specialists and staff at Children's Hospital Colorado and participate in the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center pediatric teaching program.
